Hi, How early can you have sex after childbirth ?
Vaginal birth with stitches.
How soon will the stitches heal ?
How long will you bleed ? and when will you start your period after all the bleeding after childbirth ?

Thanks !
I know of a lot of women's that have sex at 4 weeks after having their baby, but is it safe ?

The time they tell you to wait is 6 weeks before having intercourse but its a soon as you feel ready and comfortable.
My stiches healed and disolved after around 4 weeks?
I bled for 2 weeks but everyones different.
Once your bleeding stops (from childbirth) you then get have your normal cycle some women dont go back to narmal cycle straight away though again every womens different.

Does it get less painful with each childbirth?

Does the width of her hips influence the pain at all?

How do women who have sextuplets cope with the pain?

How long after childbirth does she feel like/able to have sex?

Does it feel different after childbirth?

lol this is funny!

IT does not get less painful but it is faster. The 1st child takes hours of labor.

I wish big hips were the trick but contractions are from the inside.

Multiple births mainly require c-sections, which have alot of anestesia so you dont feel nothing.

After birth the woman has to wait 40 days, im not sure about a c section

For some it is different but for others it’s the same. I know i was scared!

Women are ever concerned about feeling “tight enough” and they report that their men don’t “feel enough” during intercourse. Many women have determined that this is due to the size of their vaginas. For a woman, feeling “loose” can be sexually devastating. Because she is not able to scrutinize it closely, she may have no idea what the proportions of her vagina actually are. Lack of sensation in men can be caused by increased condom use, or greater use of anti depressants. However more and more women are taking the blame on themselves. They fear that they may not be tight enough anymore due to sex before marriage or childbirth. This is a fear because of remarriage and a re entry into the dating pool.

Actually most women are not loose at all, especially if they have not had children. The vagina is not a “hole” but, more like a “potential space” that comes in many shapes and sizes, ranging between 3 to 5 inches in length. The tone, of the PC (pubococcygeal) muscles that surround the vagina, accounts for the size of the cavity. Controlling this muscle during intercourse increases the sensation for both partners. Learning to control this muscle through “Kegel” exercises can be entertaining and pleasurable. Routinely contracting the pelvic floor muscle (this muscle is also used to stop the flow of urine) tightens the vagina and increases the woman’s ability to orgasm. You can imagine the men benefit as well.

There are medical reasons why a woman’s vaginal canal can change is size. Significant weight change, hormonal change, or even surgery can affect the cavity. However the most common cause for change is childbirth, and the stretching that the vagina undergoes during the process. Many women notice that they return to normal after a few months, while others may take longer (especially those who give birth in rapid succession). Kegel exercises are highly recommended for women after childbirth, to help support pelvic organs and prevent urine leakage.

Before you rush back to your doctor and ask for a “husband stitch” try Kegel exercises first. If they don’t seem to be working, you simply may be performing them incorrectly. Here are some tips:

Do the right type of Kegel Exercise: if your goal is to increase sensation for you (and your partner) make you practice with something inside your vagina. There are several products that are beneficial: vaginal barbells, Kegelcisor, and the Berman Juno Kegel Exerciser which uses springs for resistance. Ben wa balls and Bullet Vibes are designed to be placed in the vagina while you go about your daily activities. Keeping them in is harder than you think! Of course you could just use an old fashion penis during intercourse.

Get technical: Monitor your progress and buy a perineometer. Yes, that’s what it does; it measures your vaginal strength. Simply insert and squeeze. Record your progress.

Keep in mind there are a wide variety of penis sizes too. Like a lock and key, some penis/vagina combinations work better than others. Additionally, too much sex cannot cause a loose vagina, in fact by incorporating Kegels into your regular routine, it can only get better.

Designer Genes. What if you could consciously partake in the design of your child’s DNA while he/she is forming in your womb? The new book Painless Childbirth:An Empowering Journey Through Pregnancy and Birth by Giuditta Tornetta will show you how. Would a mom-to-be create a more wondrous human being if she herself was living to her fullest potential, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually?? It couldn’t hurt, right??
According to Painless Childbirth, if there were ever a time when a woman should concentrate on getting her act together, maternity is that time. After all, she is in the miraculous process of creating another human being-and totally responsible for that child. Ms. Tornetta, a veteran birth and post-partum doula, says responsibility for your child begins with knowing the 9 Rights of Pregnant Women, which coincide with each month of maternity. Through understanding these rights and working with them, the pregnant woman is empowered and guided to look within herself to see where she needs to grow, just as her child is developing alongside her. Ms. Tornetta has written the first self-help book for mothers-to-be. It makes good sense to think seriously about Tornetta’s deep insights into maternity. A painless childbirth is one where the mom has no regrets about her maternity period or birthing experience. This wise book shows women how to accomplish just that.

Childbirth

During childbirth the baby lies in the mother’s uterus with his head pointing down toward the cervix. The first stages of labor begin with short, regular contractions of the uterus, every few minutes, which continue until the mother’s cervix is fully dilated. In the second stage of labor the contractions become more forceful, more frequent, and more painful. As the baby’s head starts to move down the vagina the amniotic sac breaks and fluid is released. The top of the head appears at the entrance of the vagina and finally bulges out. This is the crowning of the head. The contractions which follow push the baby even her down so that the head is delivered. The baby’s eyes immediately begin to blink and the mouth makes sucking movements. The baby usually emerges facing the mother’s back, so that the head passes through the widest possible opening in the pelvic girdle. The head then turns, so that the upper and then the lower shoulder follows. There is a final contraction and baby slips out, still attached to the umbilical cord. The cord is then tied and cut—a painless operation because the cord is nerveless. The third stage of labor, in which the placenta, or afterbirth, is delivered, is usually complete about fifteen minutes after the birth.
