My question is i am 21 weeks preganant with my third baby for two days now i have this pressure in my vagina which is very pain full i did have this with my last baby but as i have had all my labours very early im getting concerned my first child was born at 36 weeks my second was born at 30 weeks i have been told my cervix is damaged from operation along time ago could this pain be my cervix or is it normal to have that with the more preganancys you have i have been seeing my doctor every two weeks to have my cervix measured as he is away for a couple of weeks my concerns are growing that mabey my baby is getting ready to come as the head is right down please help with concern thanks.
you didn't mention if you were on steriods yet. that's the only thing that saved my son's life. i was seeing my doctor daily (yes, daily) and i had an ultrasound weekly.
call your doctor daily if you have to. sit in the waiting room and check every 15 minutes for the doctor's availability. write down notes so you don't forget what you wanted to ask during the visit.
i started doing all this in the 4th month because i knew something was wrong. by the 5th month i was seeing the doc every two weeks and i had to have major surgery while pregnant.
you might end up getting on the entire medical staff's last nerves but that's your baby and whatever you have to do to keep him/her healthy will eventually be forgiven.

I am starting to get a little joint, round ligament pain and want to know if any one knows any excercises or helpful preventative measures to use? I know It'll only get worse as the pregnancy continues, and I'm a little worried because I'm only 17 weeks along.

Get into a routine to do slow streches, and when you do move make sure it is not quick because that will bring it on fast. Keeping in shape will always help.

I've read a lot about mild cramping and lower back pain during pregnancy, but has anyone else had lying on the bathroom floor crying, screaming obscenities at the top of your lungs back pain? I'm probably only 4 wks along, no spotting or bleeding or anything. It comes & goes, I'm doing pretty good most of the time but every few hours it'll hit and I'm curled up into a little ball for 10-15 minutes till it subsides. I have an appt Tues with a midwife; I called her a few days ago and she talked a bit about miscarriage but never really said that's what's going on, just wanted me to be aware that 25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. She's pretty anti-med and discouraged Tylenol, though I have cheated and taken it when the pain gets really bad (doesn't seem to help though). Been using ice packs on my back (hope that's ok?), heating pad seemed to make it worse. Just made my poor hubby go get stool softener, though I don't think that's the problem either. Any advice, is this normal?
i had really really bad back pain in early pregnancy… it was sooo bad that (before we suspected pregnancy) everyone thought i might have had a pinched nerve or something… it did get better as time went on….. congrats … good luck… and i hope you feel better soon….

I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms but negative tests. I have shoulder pain that is once and a while but when I get it, it can be pretty severe. It’s between my neck and my arm socket.
For those that say it is not a symptom of an ectopic pregnancy to have shoulder pain, you are wrong it is. I just wanted to say that because I see people post that all the time.
I’m not sure, but if you are late, having symptoms and negative tests, I would go to the ER and tell them your suspicions. I thought I was having an ectopic but it turned out the baby was where it needed to be. They will do an ultrasound and everything to be sure!
I’d really like to know what is was like for you ladies. Yesterday and the day before it was a dull pain and today it hurts a little more if I press on my nipples. Sometimes it’s a little tingling sensation on both breasts for a few moments. Please help. Thank you!
It feels like when you are about to start your period and your breast get tender but it’s a little more intence… it doesn’t hurt but it feels like pretty much what you said yours feels like.
