Update PLUS I forgot to mention:
The sonotech said the baby looked great, she even checked a few things she wasn’t really supposed to, like his brain, placement, placenta, and so forth. 
He is head down, and facing my spine currently.
Steadily kicking away, making little thumbs that you can ACTUALLY SEE AS OF TODAY! Which was exciting b/c first time Joel got to see our baby boy kick.
The tech said she couldn’t tell us exactly how far along we’re showing to be b/c she can’t do measurements which is what is needed to determine since this is a fetal imaging place not a medical place, but based on everything she’s seen 18-20 weeks… So maybe we’ll be moving up a week or 4? Who knows!
Also w/ all the we had trying to get this done, not to mention we paid for EIGHT pictures and only got 3, I emailed them and they told us we can come back any time to do it again for more pictures or get a $100 off our 4D scan in our 3rd trimester, up to us! Thought that was cool

If you were to find out that you are 3-4 weeks pregnant and have consumed alcohol numerous times in those weeks, is it really bad for the pregnancy? I'm worried about what effect that would have on the fetus at such an early stage. Any info is helpful, thanks.
Honestly, we all know you are not supposed to drink when pregnant, pretty obvious. HOWEVER, I do not know many people who knew right away that they were pregnant, in fact mosty people are a few weeks along and most of them DID drink, smoke, etc. If this is what has happened to you, I would relax, chances are pretty good that all will be fine. don't stress yourself out worrtyng about it! Just do everything you can now to have a healthy pregnancy. You will stress yourself out more worrying about it. GOOD LUCK!

If the doctor tells me im 41 weeks pregnant is he talking about from conception or has he added the 2 weeks they say your already pregnant from the two weeks from ovulation b4 you s tart your period?
Doctors count the age of the egg. So in speaking the baby is actually 39 weeks development. I dont know why they count the age of the egg instead of just going by the development of the baby. I guess thats why they say you are term at 38 weeks to 40 weeks.

I've been having pains since about 13 weeks, my uterus feels bruised and sometimes if I turn too fast it's really painful. Sometimes I'll just be sitting still and get a sharp pain. Does this last the entire pregnancy. I figure it would since the uterus has to keep stretching but I heard it might go away soon?
i had pains since i was about 4-5 weeks pregnant! a lot of the pain is from your uterus becoming larger, and it is trying to suit the baby. the pains also come from the pubic bone pushing up. it pushes up on all the your organs: bladder, kidneys, and stomach etc… you may begin to notice within the next week or two that you are not as hungry as usual! that is because you stomach is being smashed by your pubic bone. all of this is cometley normal. my sharp pains started to go ease up around 14 weeks. but haven't gone away! (too bad) the pains can feel like knives going into your sides! i am now 23 weeks pregnant, and i do get a sharp pain here and there, but they are not as bad as they are in the beginning of pregnancy!
if you every have a cramp the is accompanied by bleeding or amniotic fluid go to the ER asap! otherwise, you should be just fine!

So an update on how my ob/gyn visit went, my tooth extraction, as well as you get to see my baby bump, and my weight for the first time in two or three weeks, SORRY about that btw!
So many of my PG friends have found out the sex of their babies and they are all getting exactly what they want. I hope I’m next!

According to our calculations my girlfriend should be about 5 or 6 weeks along in her pregnancy. A recent trip to the ER revealed HcG levels of a 3 to 4 week pregnancy. Should we be concerned this early?
also since she has been under a great deal of stress could she have ovulated late leading to miscalculation?
I wouldn’t worry too much. I went to the ER also and they told me that mine where in the 5-6 week range which means I would be 12 weeks today, but I know that is wrong, I can already feel my baby move and I can feel the heartbeat when I have my hand on my stomach. Doctors CAN be wrong. At her next doctor appt. she should tell them about that though, maybe they will test again and do an ultrasound to get a more accurate result.

I know that during pregnancy your hair does not fall out but does this happen immediately after implantation or does it happen a few weeks or a few months into the pregnancy.
Maybe I havent expressed this properly. I KNOW that your hair is stronger and stops falling out during pregnancy (usually you lose about 300 hairs a day and this stops during pregnancy) what I mean is does it stop falling out immediatey after you have concieved or does it happen after the pregnancy hormones have reached a certain level?
It depends really on your body, some women can have thicker hair & others tend to fall out. If yours fall out maybe ur body is taking the vitamins in or maybe ur not getting enough vitamins & minerals. It can also be due to stress, or ur thyroid. If it just started with pregnancy then it may continue until after the birth of the baby, but you will be ok. While pregnant your body goes through many changes and takes resources such as vitamins, minerals from all sorts of other plkaces in ur body to accomodate the "baby" growing inside. So when actual birth takes place ur body goes into sort of a shock because of the strength, contractions & hormones & has to balance itself out post childbirth. So eventually u will get back on track just take care of yourself & the baby. Good Luck!
