We did mate with … We did mate with her, but they never locked, we think that there might have gotten something but not sure, shes a springer spaniel, age 4 and is her first pregnacy if she is, this morning i took her for a walk she ran up to me rolled over, looking at her she was like she was contracting, her tail was high, i have seen other births of dogs on you tube and that was the same as what they did, we will take her to the vet if she carries on like this, as she is not right at all.
The only way to … The only way to know is to take her to the vet. I can only guess. What kind of a dog is is she? I’m betting she’s not pregnant. I can’t imagine a dog lactating before the babies are born. Is this her first pregnancy? Is she being psycho about noises, nesting? What breed? How old is she? Is it possible another dog got to her?
In the meantime, love her and accommodate the poor thing, hormones are a nasty gift from G*d!
thanks for the help … thanks for the help, she has now stated to shiver and shake, also she hasnt eaten at all yesterday, i dont think she has even drunk anything, its not like my dog at all, she was up and about today, now its night and shes in her bed and hasnt moved at all!! do you think she is pregnant or not ????
Yep, she was … Yep, she was lactating and her nipples were huge. We just went through this again with her and she babied anything that made noise. Squeaky toys and phones. She’ll do the digging in the carpet and yes, she growled at our son when he tried take one of her ‘babies’.
There’s not much you can do other than treat her like she’s pregnant. It’ll last about 2-3 weeks.
were her nipples … were her nipples hard and produced milk, got bigger only round her middle, as i have a dog and i dont know if she is pregnant or not, any tips ????? i havent a clue
also she has a box with her bed and she grawled and me, thats not like her at all ?? !!
Chloe has never had puppies but is going through a false pregnancy/thinks she has babies.

Poor Chloe thinks my cell phone ringing is her baby crying! She’s a good Mamma, she’s a good dog!
