is it dangerous to continue to wear things if they're a little tight on your belly? i'm trying to plan out when to buy new stuff.
No, but it can be uncomfortable. I'n due in six weeks and still wear my (UK) size 12 jeans because they are stretchy, I just undo the button if I'm sat down for a long time. Maybe you should try a 'bumpband', its a stretchy elastic band like a boob tube thay you wear over the waist of your jeans but under your shirt that 'turns' your normal clothes into maternity clothes because you dont have to fasten them. you can find them online.

If your pants are giving you pain when you sit down, there's a chance that they're cutting off some circulation to you and baby, so thatt could potentially be unsafe. But you could always just unbutton your pants and loop a rubber band from the button through the button hole…that worked for me for a while. As far as tight shirts, it won't cause any harm, because most shirts are made of something stretchy that have a little bit of give. Of course if these are nice work blouses, you may not want to stretch them this way or hey may be stretched out permanantly and you'll find yourself buying ANOTHER whole new wardrobe after pregnancy. But as far as t-shirts or other tops, there's no harm in wearing them as long as you can!

It is not dangerous in any way unless it is causing pain. Pain is a sign you shouldn't be doing something. Also some women wear different pregnancies supports which can be relatively tight. For me I couldn't stand any pressure on my belly, but everyone is different.

It isn't dangerous, just uncomfortable. If you want to continue to wear some of your clothes for a while, let me suggest trying a rubberband to help keep your button fastened. Just wrap around the button and through the hole, back to the button. I would say plan on buying some stuff around the 4th month. You'll be a lot happier and glad you did!

If you're wearing that are tight around your belly, it might cut off circulation. You need to start wearing loosen clothing.
