The sonotech said the baby looked great, she even checked a few things she wasn’t really supposed to, like his brain, placement, placenta, and so forth. 
He is head down, and facing my spine currently.
Steadily kicking away, making little thumbs that you can ACTUALLY SEE AS OF TODAY! Which was exciting b/c first time Joel got to see our baby boy kick.
The tech said she couldn’t tell us exactly how far along we’re showing to be b/c she can’t do measurements which is what is needed to determine since this is a fetal imaging place not a medical place, but based on everything she’s seen 18-20 weeks… So maybe we’ll be moving up a week or 4? Who knows!
Also w/ all the we had trying to get this done, not to mention we paid for EIGHT pictures and only got 3, I emailed them and they told us we can come back any time to do it again for more pictures or get a $100 off our 4D scan in our 3rd trimester, up to us! Thought that was cool

Well, I made it to week 14 and so excited! As of today, I am 14 weeks and 5 days and it’s going by so fast! I had a Doc. appointment Mon. Dec. 1st and heard the heartbeat. We decided to get an alpha fetoprotein blood test. Dec. 19th is when I go have the blood test done and it should take a week for the results to come back.

I’m feeling some “twitches” in my tummy and it feels wonderful! It usually happens at night when I’m laying real still. My doppler can pick up the movements, even movements that I’m not able to feel yet.
I have gained 3 lbs, but I thought it would’ve been more judging the way my pants AREN’T fitting! haha!!
Been having some “swamp” mouth here and there lately.

So an update on how my ob/gyn visit went, my tooth extraction, as well as you get to see my baby bump, and my weight for the first time in two or three weeks, SORRY about that btw!
So many of my PG friends have found out the sex of their babies and they are all getting exactly what they want. I hope I’m next!

Hi youtube!!! It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted a new video to update you guys about my pregnancy and belly! I’m sorry!!! The last video I posted I was 14 weeks along and I am now in my week 20 (I’M HALFWAY THERE FINALLY!!!). So much things had happened since the last 6 weeks but I’ll try to give you the more important news.
I feel great! I am in my second trimester so all the bad symptoms are gone, no more nauseas, tireness (still tired a bit but not that bad), no more headake like crazy in the afternoon…I feel better than ever in my body and even more in my soul! I really enjoy my pregnancy now.
Yesterday I had my bog ultrasound!!!!! I was so exited! It’s gonna be a healthy baby, all the body parts to the right place loll! We got to see the beating heart, the brain, the little mouth, we even counted the fingers and toes!! It was a magical moment for me and my b/f. And guess what I’m having……..IT’S GONNA BE A LITTLE BOY!!!!!!!!! I TOTALLY JUST KNEW IT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING! Since I know I’m pregnant, I told everybody I was having a boy. I had a strong feeling, I dreamt of it, I felt it and everytimes it kicks I’m just even more sure loll! My b/f is the most happy man of the hole world, that’s what he was wishing for. We had a hard time thinking about names. All the names he picked up, I don’t like, and same thing for him, he hate all my ideas too lol…But no stress here, 20 weeks are lefting again and this baby will have a name, I promise!!!
When we got out of the hospital in the afternoon we went shopping a bit! I bought him 4 little pjamas so cuuuteee! And many washcloths with diffrent colours! And also, I don’t want my boy to be wearing blue all the time so I wanna buy different colour as green, yellow, orange, to be original! I don’t know if you like to watch hockey games on tv but here in Quebec, it’s our national sport and when the season begins, everybody here is going completely crazy…my boyfriend is a good example!! LOL. He bought a bib and some booties with the sign of our national team : the Canadiens! He told me : you’ll see, my son will watch hockey on daddy’s knees! I just died inside thinking about it, I just can’t wait to have my baby in my arms!!
And you can see my belly got so big in the last weeks! Now I can fit perfectly in my maternity clothes lol! I was told my belly was big for only 5 months, but I’m happy about it…At least, its round and perfect, and I don’t have any stretch marks yet!

Quick Update! Sorry it’s not the typical video and you have now gone two weeks w/ out seeing a belly shot, or the typical belly stuff we do, I apologize! We have had a ton going on this last 2 weeks, I haven’t been home in over a week, and I have had Jace by my self for a week while Joel was back home, so making a video hasn’t been the easiest thing. Hi Youtube, welcome to week 26!!! I am now 6 months and a half into the journey, already at the end of my second trimester. In 2 weeks I’ll be in my 3rd and last trimester!! Only 3 months to go before holding my little baby in my arm I can’t wait! My and my boyfriend are so exited but at the same time put under stress. It’s our first baby and to be in front of something totally new, I think it’s normal to be worried. But we love him so much already so I think everything’s gonna be ok!!
We haven’t found a name yet. Nothing had really change, my b/f hates my ideas and same thing for me loll! Time is passing by so fast, we have to get it done soon! And maybe we can keep a list with 2-3 different names in case the first choice just don’t fit with the baby’s face.
Nothing really major had happened since the last 6 weeks. My belly keeps growing and the baby is moving a lot! Sometimes it feels like he’s doing some kickboxing in there!!
I’m still working at the office 5 days a weeks and 40 hours a week and I really begin to find it rough. 10 more weeks are lefting before my maternity leave and it seems like it’s so far again…I will stop working around january 20th or something. I’ll be 36 weeks then. I am always tired at work and have terrible headacke all the time, the belly takes so much place between my and my keyboard, no concentration and motivation there so obviously, it’s hard. I need more energy!
So now here is my 26 weeks belly! It’s so much bigger than the last video where I was 20 weeks along. It begins to be hard to work near my keyboard and my arms are almost completely stretched! LOLLL! As you can see, no marks yet, hope it’ll continue like that till the end. My mother never had stretch marks with her 2 pregnancies and I have the same skin type so I keep my fingers crossed! But I know that the moisturizing cream must help to.
So everything is doing fine exept I am always short of breath, just to put my shoes on it seems like a have run a marathon!!!

Hi youtube it’s me Danika again! I promised you guys a new video soon for my week 9 as I was on thursday, sorry I’m late, things were going crazy and I was busy all week long. So there you go now!
This week I had my new hair cut! That is short for me versus what I’m used to but no bad comments I’ve received yet and I feel great. I heard that during the pregnancy, it happens that you want to change something important to stay mind healthy! loll I feel beautiful and I’m happy about the new style.
On thursday night we had our appointement at the bank for the mortgage loan. The lady told us they are ready to lend us up to 150 000 dollars for a house. But when we saw the monthly paiments, we were like OMFG there’s no way we are going to reach our goals now! So we talked about it a lot, and we finally decided to stay in our appartement until next july and after that find a bigger appartement. We want to put some money appart as much as we can from now on and maybe in two years we would be ready to have our own house. I’m afraid not to be able to go throught if we move and buy the house now. I think it’s the better decision for us. One thing after another, we wish to take our time. The baby first and later on, another goal! Whatcha think?
For the symptoms, I am still feeling nauseas in the morning and it’s kinda annoying, hope it’ll be off soon. And also, I’m very exausted early in the evening, it wasn’t like that before the pregnancy and when I wake up in the morning I feel like I’ve been sleeping only for 2 or 3 hours the night before =(. Plus, when I am at work sometimes I’m feeling like taking a nap in the middle of the afternoon if I could…but in the office, it’s pretty…impossible! I can’t wait since the symptoms will go away, I’m not feeling very good but at least, I know it’s worthy at the end of the journey…I hope so!
So now, what everybody wants to see, I show my belly! It’s growing so fast I can’t believe the progress in only 2 weeks! My mother in law said I might have twins lollll…OMG…better be prepared! Hahahah! As you can see, I can’t fit in my pants now but unfortunatly, I too small to put on my maternity clothes and too big for my regular stuff! It’s so frustrating! (By the way sorry the image is dark but I didn’t felt like redoing it.)
I’m going to show you guys the stuff I bought from the maternity store last sunday. I wanna know your opinion about it. First we have the red shirt. As you can see, it’s very long and stretchy so I think and I hope to be able to wear it even after the pregnancy. And these are the pants, we cannot see very clearly but it’s black and ordinary. I’ll be wearing those at the office.
